Funding in Indian startups this week (21 Sep-26 Sep)

This week 12 Indian startups raised funding, of which 9 acquired a complete sum of about $118 million. Among them, ShareChat raised the best funding of about $40 million adopted by Hopscotch, which raised $25 million.

Meanwhile, funding for three of the overall funded startups remained undisclosed.

ShareChat: Vernacular social media platform ShareChat has closed its $40 million pre-Series E spherical led by present traders Lightspeed India and SAIF Partners.

Hopscotch: Online youngsters’ style model Hopscotch has raised $25 million in what seems to be Series D spherical from Facebook co-founder Eduardo Saverin’s funding arm EE Capital, Lionrock Capital, Rise Capital, RPG Ventures and IIFL Seed Ventures Fund.

Servify: Personal gadget administration and after-sale providers for digital devices firm Servify has secured $23 million within the Series C funding spherical led by present backer Iron Pillar.


Onsitego: After-sales providers agency Onsitego has raised round $11 million as part of its prolonged Series B funding spherical from International Finance Corporation or IFC.

i3 Systems: Insurance-technology startup, i3 Systems has raised $1.5 million in a pre-Series A funding spherical from Unitus Ventures and others. Media manufacturing platform has raised $1.5 million in a seed spherical led by Lightspeed Ventures and AV8 Ventures.

BestDoc: SaaS-based affected person relationship administration startup BestDoc has raised $2.2 million in pre-Series A spherical from Accel, Arkam Ventures and others.

Melorra: e-jeweller Melorra has raised $12.5 million in a funding spherical led by Symphony Asia with participation from Lightbox Ventures and Alteria Capital.

GenieTalk: conversational synthetic intelligence startup, GenieTalk has raised $0.75 million in angel funding from Shankeshwar Technologies LLP.
