Watch | India to Ignore UK Data on Covishield for B.1.617.2, Stick to 12-16 Week Gap – The Wire Science

In a 50-minute interview with Karan Thapar for The Wire, Dr Narendra Kumar Arora, chairperson of India’s COVID-19 working group, spelled out his considerations with the Public Health England research.

He stated, “I have gone through every word of that study and I have serious concerns”. The first is its small pattern measurement. The research says it had entry to 1,054 circumstances of B.1.617.2. The second concern is the research interval which Dr Arora stated is round six weeks from April 5 to May 16. The third concern, he stated, is the uncertainty band surrounding the 33% level estimate which he stated makes the purpose estimate questionable.
